Reiki training at Spark Of Life offers a structured pathway for anyone wishing to learn Reiki for personal development, wellbeing or professional practice.

Rooted in the traditional Usui system of Reiki, the training combines instruction, practical hands-on experience and attunements in a supportive small-group environment.

Whether you are completely new to Reiki, already practising and want to deepen your skills, or are working towards becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher, you can follow a progressive pathway through Reiki Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.

Reiki Level 1 – Shoden

Foundation of Self-Healing

Reiki Level 1 introduces the foundations of Usui system of Reiki and is suitable for beginners. You will learn the history and principles of Reiki, develop your personal practice and learn how to give hands-on Reiki to yourself and others.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: None
Level 1 includes:

• Introduction to Usui Ryoho Reiki
• Reiki history and principles
• Four Reiki attunements
• Self-treatment
• Hands-on Reiki treatment
• Basic Reiki hand positions
• Practical exercises with other participants
• Reiki manual

Level 1 outcome:
Develop the foundation and practical skills to use Reiki for yourself and informal Reiki sessions with family and friends.

Reiki Level 2 – Okuden

Practitioner Level

Reiki Level 2 deepens your understanding and practice and introduces techniques for working with mental and emotional wellbeing, as well as distance Reiki.

You will receive two attunements and learn three traditional Reiki symbols while developing greater confidence in giving Reiki to others.

Duration: 1 day
Prerequisite: Reiki Level 1 certification, with a minimum recommended interval of 3 months
Level 2 includes:

• Two Reiki attunements
• Three Reiki symbols
• Advanced Reiki techniques
• Mental and emotional healing techniques
• Distance Reiki
• Practical treatment experience
• Continued development of your personal practice

Level 2 outcome:
Develop the skills and confidence to offer Reiki professionally, including distance Reiki.

Reiki Level 3 – Shinpiden

Master / Teacher Level

Reiki Level 3 is for practitioners who wish to take their Reiki journey further and develop the knowledge and skills required to become a Reiki Master/Teacher.

The training introduces the Master attunement, Master symbol and the processes involved in attuning and teaching others.

Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: Reiki Level 2 certification and practical experience, with a minimum recommended interval of 6 months
Level 3 includes:

• Master attunement
• Master symbol
• Reiki Master practices
• Attunement procedures
• Teaching methodology
• Practical Master/Teacher exercises
• Guidance in teaching Reiki
• Reiki manual

Level 3 outcome:
Develop the knowledge and practical skills to practise as a Reiki Master/Teacher and teach the Reiki levels offered within the training pathway.
