Tap into your power, is a lifelong quest for most of us. Between trying to make sense of our decisions and realise our purpose of life.
A brain is an organ that serves as the centre of the nervous system in all vertebrate and most invertebrate animals. It is located in the head, usually close to the sensory organs for senses such as vision. It is the most complex organ in a vertebrate’s body.
Just four weeks after conception, the neural tube along your baby’s back is closing. The baby’s brain and spinal cord will develop from the neural tube. Other organs and the heart also are starting to form. The heart is the first organ to form during development of the body.
The heart is in a constant two-way dialog with the brain. Our emotions change the signals the brain sends to the heart and the heart responds in complex ways.
The brain receives the information that outside stimuli (sight, smell, touch, taste, sound) conveys, and the heart incorporates the message with the higher knowledge of the soul to create wisdom.
The experience of an emotion results from the brain, heart and body acting in concert.
The human heart, in addition to its other functions, actually possesses a heart-brain composed of about 40,000 neurons that can sense, feel, learn and remember. The heart brain sends messages to the head brain about how the body feels and more.
The brain when not integrated with the heart, drives us to work more, play less, and compete for survival. The brain will push the human body well past healthy limits and then when the body suffers as a result, blame it for incompetence and failure.
The balance between the brain and the heart is where we tap into our power.
The human (thinking) heart, the organ we think of as only there to pump blood throughout our body, actually is meant to be an integral part of our decision-making.
Tap into your power. Reconnect with your heart, find balance, and choose love.
